Welcome to Cottagecore Girl!
Cottagecore Girl is my little corner of Second Life devoted to something I have always loved: creating beautiful spaces that feel warm, collected, comfortable, and just a little bit enchanted.
I created Cottagecore Girl Lifestyle Design because I believe our virtual homes should have just as much personality as we do. A room should feel like someone belongs there. It should have warmth, history, texture, and those small details that make you want to settle into a chair, put the kettle on, and stay awhile.
My stores specialize in original architectural and decorative textures for Second Life, with collections designed for everything from cosy cottages and country houses to grand manors, shops, historic homes, and even the occasional castle. I create wallpapers, coordinated woodwork, wainscoting, mouldings, paneling, trim textures, seasonal collections, and other decorative finishes that allow you to build a room rather than simply cover a wall.
The cottagecore aesthetic is at the heart of everything I do, but my interpretation of cottagecore is broader than flowers, teacups, and picturesque little cottages.
For me, cottagecore is really about home.
I love rooms that appear to have evolved over time—patterned wallpaper above beautifully finished woodwork, warm natural materials, botanical patterns, traditional craftsmanship, comfortable imperfections, and little details that suggest a living being lived there. I draw inspiration from English and Scottish country houses, Arts & Crafts interiors, old cottages and manor houses, vintage decorating, gardens and forests, and the wonderful way our surroundings change with the seasons.
There is certainly nostalgia in what I create, but I don’t want Cottagecore Girl to simply reproduce the past. I would much rather borrow the things I love from traditional design and reinterpret them for Second Life. That means mixing historical influences with colors, patterns, finishes, and sometimes a bit of whimsy to create something that feels familiar without feeling like a museum.
You’ll find everything from florals, botanicals and woodland patterns to tartans, rich traditional woods, soft painted finishes, pickled woods, and seasonal designs in my collections. Whenever possible, I create them as coordinated families so that wallpaper, paneling, mouldings, woodwork, and trim can all work together. I want you to be able to take a collection and make it your own.
And that, perhaps, is the most important part of Cottagecore Girl.
I don’t believe there is only one way to make a beautiful home.
Your cottage might need warm oak and tiny flowers. Your Highland manor may demand dark mahogany and tartan. You might prefer weathered wood, soft pastels, rich autumn colors, Christmas greenery, or something wonderfully unexpected. Cottagecore should be personal, because home is personal.
Above all, Cottagecore Girl is built around one very simple idea: that your Second Life home should feel like somewhere you want to stay awhile. Not merely decorated. Not merely furnished. Loved.
That’s what Cottagecore Girl means to me—a little traditional, a little romantic, occasionally whimsical, comfortably imperfect, and always created with affection for those tiny details that turn a house into a home.

COLLECTIONS

There is something about autumn that makes home feel just a little more important.
The days grow shorter, the light turns golden, and suddenly we find ourselves wanting rooms that feel warmer, softer and perhaps just a bit more tucked away from the world outside. That feeling was the inspiration behind the new Autumn Forest Collection from Cottagecore Girl Texture & Design.
Set against a deep woodland green, Autumn Forest scatters maple and oak leaves, delicate branches, berries and pinecones across the paper in wonderfully muted shades of russet, ochre, moss, amber and faded gold. The pattern has been deliberately kept light and graceful—enough to bring the colors and textures of an autumn woodland indoors without overwhelming the room.

There is something wonderfully timeless about the interiors of old Scottish country houses: warm wood, softly patterned walls, rooms that feel as though they have collected stories for generations. That was the inspiration behind The Brodie Collection, arriving at Cottagecore Girl on Sunday, 16 August.
The collection features six new seamless wall textures, each combining traditional architectural detailing with understated tartan or heritage-inspired wall coverings. They were designed to bring a little of that comfortable, lived-in grandeur to your Second Life home—whether your idea of home is a tiny cottage tucked into the countryside, a sprawling manor house, or a proper Scottish castle overlooking the loch.

Some styles never go out of fashion—they simply wait to be rediscovered.
Introducing The Beaufort Collection, a new series of seamless wall textures inspired by the quiet elegance of Scotland’s great country manor houses. From stately Highland estates to centuries-old laird’s homes, these richly detailed patterns draw upon the classic motifs once found in formal drawing rooms, libraries, entrance halls, and private chambers throughout the Scottish countryside.
Featuring traditional thistles, heraldic stag motifs, intricately carved woodwork, and a carefully curated palette ranging from rich mahogany and warm honey oak to pickled white wood paired with timeless heritage colors, The Beaufort Collection brings authentic Scottish character into your Second Life home.

There is a timeless quality about beautifully carved woodwork. It has a way of making a room feel established, welcoming, and full of character—as though it has been lovingly cared for for generations. That feeling was the inspiration behind my new Empire Collection decorative wood tiles.
Whether you’re creating a cozy cottage, an elegant Highlands manor house, a Victorian townhouse, or a grand estate in Second Life, these richly detailed panels add depth and architectural interest wherever they’re used. Install them as decorative ceiling tiles for a dramatic overhead feature, create custom wainscoting in a dining room or library, build statement walls around a fireplace, or use them as decorative accents in cafés, shops, churches, galleries, and historic buildings. Their versatility makes them one of those building elements you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again.

The Essential Cottagecore collection features seven handcrafted cottagecore-inspired designs, each combining beautifully detailed floral wallpapers with traditional wainscoting and trim in classic Craftsman styling. Whether you prefer soft sage greens, vintage blues, warm golden florals, romantic lavender tones, or timeless country blooms, each seamless, high resolution texture has been created to bring charm, comfort, and a touch of nostalgia to your Second Life home.
