Second Life has never just been a virtual world to me—it is a place of stories, artistry, architecture, music, friendships, and beautifully imagined places waiting to be discovered. Second Glances is where I share those discoveries.
I have always believed that the best regions tell a story. Whether I’m wandering the misty Highlands, photographing an architecturally significant estate, attending a live concert in a centuries-old cathedral, discovering an inspiring new fashion designer, or enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in a hidden corner of Bellisseria, I’m always searching for the details that make a place feel alive.
My own passions lean toward Scottish history and culture, architecture, photography, branding, and thoughtful design. I have long been fascinated by the built environment—both real and virtual—and that fascination has led me from exploring architectural builds and inspired spaces to writing about remarkable destinations throughout Second Life. More recently, my creative work has embraced the warmth and nostalgia of the Cottagecore aesthetic, celebrating cozy spaces, timeless craftsmanship, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
Beyond writing, I serve as the Brand Manager for the Highlands of Scotland in SL, as well as my own design studio, Cottagecore Girl, plus several other creative projects throughout Second Life. I enjoy helping shape the visual identities of communities and businesses through branding, graphic design, photography, and storytelling—bringing each one to life with personality and purpose.

I enjoy exploring realism-based regions, uncovering hidden gems, highlighting community and grid-wide events, celebrating exceptional creators, and occasionally sharing a little wit along the way.
