Here are few of my favorite shopping places for clothes, furniture and gardening. The list changes over time and some may come and go but I’ve found these to be consistent in quality, customer service and value. Check them out below!

From denim jeans to leather jackets, footwear to lingerie, Addams has consistently delivered pieces that blend modern fashion trends with Second Life’s unique needs for fit, function, and flair.

Dead Doll makes awesome clothes that always fit me well. Their outfits have great attention to detail, design and quality. Their store layout is great and finding things you will like is no problem here. They have also been around a long time and have built a loyal following among those seeking cute, goth and also formal apparel.

ISON (Stilast) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Stilast/214/167/28

ISON is a collection that reflects designer Harry Hyx’s fashion forward concept of dress. Remolding classic silhouettes into new defiant proportions, ISON represents an image that is modern, lean, and intelligent. ISON is one of my favorite stores because they carry a wide selection of styles, from elegant, business professional to weekend club style and sexy. Their quality is undisputed and they have a large and loyal following. Visit early and often!

Mellow Elie (Lula) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lula/46/126/27

Cool, Classy, Casual, Comfortable…the four C’s of fashion can all be found at Mellow Elie, maker of clothes, shoes, and accessories. Creator Emma Gilmour, who opened the store last November, has been working her craft in Second Life for years, and if you stop by, you likely won’t leave without something that caught your eye.

Nutmeg (Nutmeg Mainstore) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Nutmeg%20Mainstore/72/100/21

Much of my personal home furnishings are from Nutmeg. This huge store has a large selection of furniture for every room of your life. Much of their style is casual, lived in and carefully curated, evoking a coastal casual feel that avoids beachy and could easily be out of the pages of Southern Living. Nutmeg is definitely worth visiting!

Osmia (Osmia) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/OSMIA/123/140/24

Osmia is a store I keep a close eye on for their new releases. Owner and designer Hanna Lindberg has a keen eye for savvy fashion and her casual apparel always fits well and looks great! Most everything I buy there comes with both PBR and Classic versions included and I can mix and match with other clothes in my wardrobe. Be sure to watch for their sales too and freebies at their store!

Seeker (Taejon) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Taejin/201/79/2004

I love Seeker’s wide selection of cute dresses, shoes and accessories. They have a youthful, flirty style that is consistent across their product line, which is a high on both quality and value. They also have great Saturday sales in the store which is a big draw.

Sorumin (Reef Island) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Reef%20Island/182/29/22

Sorumin is a casual apparel store with a lot of great products. A variety of skirts, tops and bottoms are available for most all of the major mesh body types and you’ll find a huge selection of colors and patterns in their apparel fat packs for a reasonable price. They also enjoy making seasonal apparel available for those who enjoy the festive times of the year.

TETRA (TETRA Store) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/TETRA%20Store/175/114/39

I recently discovered TETRA, which just celebrated its 10th Anniversary in Second Life. Creator Nata Fluffpaw brings a wonderful sense of casual style for women to enjoy with a wide selection of products including tops, bottoms, swimsuits, footwear and much more! My favorite item is the Spacetrip Bomber jacket, which includes both a flannel undershirt and a t-shirt, both of which can be worn together with it or separately (or not at all). Be sure to check out this really awesome store!
