Today is the day! Relay For Life of Second Life begins at 10:00 AM SLT and Team Scotland for Life will be on the track (or manning the campsite shown here! Our team is small but mighty and we’re ready to do our part for Relay! Let’s share the Magic of Hope and inspire the world!
A few tips for making it around the track:
- Wear low impact clothing and hair
- Remove every hud you can get by without. These have scripts that can contribute to lag. AO, texture changing, they all add up. It’s ok if we all walk dorky for a day!
- Be patient-lag is part of the challenge!
- You will crash-accept the fact, relog and push on!
- Grab a free pedometer at the border crossing kiosks!
- Be courteous and kind-some walk, some run. Relay your way!
- Leave vehicles, horses and other conveyances at home.
- Lower your viewer settings and reduce draw distance.
- Use a wired connection, which usually is more stable than wireless.
- HAVE FUN!
